Tapiceros del Mundo · Our community
Upholstery knowledge grows when we share it.
An international home for people who learn, practice and share upholstery. A project driven and backed by Enmanuel Mayo, bringing practical knowledge and the people behind the craft together.
A place for every stage of the craft
Beginners can start with materials and project planning. Working upholsterers can document their work and explore other portfolios. People planning a repair can learn what to ask before choosing a professional.
The knowledge library is available in Spanish and English. The directory remains international: explore locations reported by each member and confirm their service area directly.
How we build knowledge
Clear sources. Respect for real work.
Mayo backs the project. Each guide identifies its sources and preparation process in its own publication.
Sources you can consult
Research-based guides link to supplier documentation, trade associations or public institutions. Product specifications apply to the specific product, material and intended use.
Experience with a name
When sharing a project, identify your contribution, materials and process. Use photographs you own or have permission to publish, with the original author credited.
A visible editorial process
Research and editorial synthesis assisted by AI are disclosed in the guides that use them. Any individual author, technical review or hands-on test must be identified in the specific publication.
Context for each decision
Read the scope and date of each guide, and confirm local requirements and current product instructions. Illustrative estimates and examples are identified as such.
